Our Mission

About QuoServ and IDG

The only platform developed specifically to handle deactivations, QuoServ provides a user-friendly centralized interface that allows complete transparency for unions to track cases in real time, streamlining case management and bringing unions an end to end system to handle grievances.

QuoServ is a product of the Independent Drivers Guild (IDG).  With QuoServ, drivers have the opportunity to share their side of the story, to fight back against misinformation, and to get their jobs and their livelihoods back on track. We believe that every worker deserves a fair and equitable workplace. Deactivation Protection is one step towards providing that for drivers.

Who is IDG?

The Independent Drivers Guild is a driver-led and driver-powered advocacy group fighting for the rights of drivers across the country. Our primary mission is to unite drivers in the fight for the right to collective bargaining, which is the only way to stop driver exploitation by giving drivers the power to negotiate equitable work conditions for themselves. We are Uber and Lyft workers united for a fair industry.

Founded in 2016, we are the leading driver organization in the nation. We represent 80,000 for-hire drivers in New York City and advocate for over 250,000 drivers across NY, NJ, CT, MA, and IL. We have accomplished more for drivers than any other organization through direct actions and advocacy.

From fair wages to affordable benefits to deactivation recourse, we have been leading and winning fights for drivers thanks to our engaged community of members and activists. We believe that all workers deserve a fair and equitable workplace and we are committed to ensuring that independent drivers receive the support and benefits they deserve.

Leading the way to better outcomes for gig workers, the Independent Drivers Guild won the right to a fair deactivation appeal with Uber and Lyft management. If you have been deactivated from using their apps, there is now due process for you to be able to work on the app again. The Independent Drivers Guild is the first labor organization in the nation to have negotiated a fair process for this crucial protection.

If you have been deactivated or had your driving restricted (such as a ban from airports) and would like to have IDG try to get you back, please file your appeal on our site iamdeactivated.com using the link below.
